Times are changing, Lifes changing, the world is changing.

Its not that ive lost interest in the TVB world, i still support Ron but this obsesssion of mine has actually gone away. Its at a point which is so busy i honestly have no time to maintain anything. I have so much work to get through everyday, and everytime i get home i dont have the time to think about the website, let alone maintaining it.

Maybe when the host expired maybe it was the right time to move on. Maybe it indicated i had to move on and get on with life. There are things that are so much more important now....all these years of effort put into ronforever, starting from a little blog, to a forum, to an actual website host....it was amazing. But I dont consider it as a sucess when i look back, it was so inactive..and sometimes i thought i just wasnt worth it anymore.

So maybe il be back someday, maybe i wont but for the mean time i wish you all a Happy Chinese New Year and maybe one day il return and find my motivation to start it all up again..

I remember starting up ronforever.com 2 years ago. And it was fun and it took a lot of work. Over these 2 years i've put so many hours and effort into establishing an International Forum for Ron fans and only yesterday when i tried to access the site it was for some reason locked. I dont know why and i dont know how but i was worried. Worried that all my work has gone down the drain. All those hours of translating those long articles were lost...It isnt easy to set up a site like this. And for those of you who know it requires a lot of work.

And so im trying to find out what is the problem. I've emailed Asian4ever who gave us the domain and also my other admin Celes who hasnt been online lately. I really do hope i can solve this problem. But what if i cant? What do I do? Its hard because if i do rebuild the site its going to take a lot more time than it initially did. So would i have to give it up? I dont know. I dont have the time and the effort to rebuild it and Ronforever meant a lot to me because it brought a lot of joy in my spare time just chatting with others.

Nevertheless i will do my best to sort the problem. I cant gurantee anything and I wont because im scared and worried...i may have lost Ronforever...forever

Suki Tsui and Ron Ng yesterday participated in the new series (紅粉商人) Costume fitting. Suki was worried that rumours might arise when working with Ron. Yesterday at the function she said that she can’t prevent rumours but she asked people not to believe them. Asked if she likes hot boys? Suki replied “I don’t really know Ron well and I don’t even know how old he is but I just feel that nothing can spark between us, and I hope nothing does either.

In (紅粉商人), Ron plays a Rice factory manager but has to cut his hair short for this production. In August and September Ron will start filming so he has spent these two weeks earning as much money as he can. Apart from going to the US & Toronto to perform he will also be filming a wedding advertisement with Fiona Sit which in the end will all turn into money.

Yesterday Ella Koon accepted an interview from a new radio station "Music Connecting the World" 《音樂通世界》, the host asked if her iPod contained the two songs "Don't Blame Her" and "Miss Hermes", she frankly said that she does have the songs on her iPod. During the interview she was also asked about her past rumors with Vincent Wong and Ron Ng. Ella explained that before her friend was responsible for entering the songs for her, so she does not know what songs she had. Asked if she deleted the song "Don't Blame Her" now? She smiled: "I already got a new one, when the time comes probably my younger sister or friend would help me put the songs in." As to her past rumors, Ella said that she does not feel like talking about it as she has already talked about it in the past. Some of the rumors were true, some were fake.

As an artiste, singer and a performer, she is able to entertain everyone in different aspects, she feels that its a good thing. As for which of her past rumors caused her to be the most unhappy? Recently TVB and Ebay have been working together to promote sales with TVB artists such as Ron Ng, Joel Chan, Miriam Yeung, Fala Chan and Tavia Yeung. Yesterday all of them attended the "Ebay and TVB sales online" function bringing some of their things to sell. Ron brought his Soccer Jersey which he hasnt worn before. He expressed that he really liked soccer and Tavia teased him as the "Ball Lover" which made Ron laugh.

A few days ago Gallen Lo and his wife have divorced, but last night Michael Miu attended a celebration for Academy Full Throttle, he arrived with his wife for the celebration but when starting to talk about the divorce Michael felt that every family will have to go through hardship, and even having a relationship with his wife for 18 years, Michael thinks that it is most important to be able to tolerate one another.

Academy Full Throttle has finally finished filming so last night the cast, Michael Miu, Ron Ng, Elanne Kong, Kathy Chow and Michael Tse all arrived at Causeway Bay to celebrate. Michael Miu and his wife were hand in hand on arrival. Asked if Michael Miu was treating everyone for a meal? He said “Kathy said that she was going to but it really doesn’t matter who does la”. Michael Miu said that this celebration party was a buffet and that about 40-50 people were going to attend.

Ron Ng took the taxi to Causeway Bay but denied that he was going to drink therefore he wouldn’t be able to drive. After finishing filming, Ron Ng will start filming an ancient drama in August. He said “summer’s weather is great, especially for filming ancient dramas”. Elanne Kong will be planning to treat the cast for a meal. She said “I’m planning to treat everyone for a meal because it was my first time filming and they have taught me so much!”

Hey everyone,

Well it’s that time of the year again, something special is happening! Its Ron’s birthday! As most of you have seen that Ron will be holding a Birthday party with Tavia Yeung (Yes TARO fans are probably extremely excited). This year we are actually planning to give a gift to Ron. With much help from Keiko from Ron-station we have decided to make a combined present to give to Ron.

As a Ronforever initiative we are going to make a Calendar for Ron’s birthday. Because most overseas fans don’t know how to read Chinese and aren’t able to navigate around Ron-station there may be a lack of contribution to the video present above. Therefore I hope all of us can be apart of the whole present!

As mentioned above I was speaking of a Calendar for Ron’s Birthday. This will be an idea Ronforever have put together with the help of fans from Ron-station. In other words it’ll be a joined present. Anyone can contribute to the Calendar present as it’s a graphics present but there may be many people submitting entries therefore we can only use the best ones. BUT any great ideas used will be used in the final copy.

So here is how the whole Calendar thing works.

There are 12 months and four seasons in a year right? On your birthday month we will mark your birthday on the date so Ron will know when it is
In each Calendar there is usually a picture and then a table of all the days in the month. In that picture for each month we are planning to have a picture of Ron. I.e. in summer there will be Ron at the beach or something. With that we will have a Question such as what is your favourite Ron Drama?

If your birthday is during this month you will be required to answer that question and it will be made in a collage with the other fan’s responses.
So it should end up like this:

All Questions will require the answer as well as Why you like Ron. I need all of you to help think of 12 questions we can get fans to answer. E.g.

January: What series do you like and why?
February: What is your most favourite character and why?

This is only an idea, not the final questions.

On the 10th of July hopefully we’ll have all the questions and then we can start getting fans to design and hopefully think of a response.

Michael Tse, Ron Ng and Sammul Chan were filming "The Academy III" yesterday. They filmed a scene about Ron Ng and Michael Tse fighting on the moutains of Sai Kung. During the fight, Sammul will kill Michael by shooting him. Although, the weather was very hot the actors were very professional and didn't complain.

The reporters asked Michael about the rumours of Chin Ka Lok and Angela Tong dating. He asks the reporters for more information then replies "Perhap's they are just good friends who often chat alot?". (Asked whether he believes they are dating?) "They are both single, even if they are really dating it's normal. But perhap's it's a little sudden." Ron Ng heard the reporters discussing about Chin Ka Lok and immediatley appeared interested in the rumoured news, asking for more details from the reporters. He replied "They probably were with many other friends at the time. But it was just an coincidence that the reporters had taken pictures of just the two of them.

Ron and Elanne Kong also filmed scenes at a park. The storyline consists of Ron as a undercover policeman who pretends to fall in love with Elanne, to make her Triad leader father (Michael Miu) get caught. During the scenes they only appeared to hold hands and cuddle. There were no intimate scenes involved.

Recently Ron Ng and Elanne Kong have been filming for the upcoming drama Academy Full Throttle which has caused rumours to be spreading, but Ron didn’t seem to worry too much about the scandal because last week he continued to film with Elanne a “hugging” scene.

After entering the industry, Ron Ng has continuously had rumours with his female co-stars. Earlier there were rumours with Charmaine Sheh and while filming Academy Full Throttle rumours arose between him and Elanne. But Ron claimed that their age difference was too big therefore it isn’t possible for them to ‘spark’. Maybe because of this, there haven’t been any distractions during the intimate scenes with Elanne.

Earlier, Ron and Elanne were filming for the series at Happy Valley. This was a very intimate scene and the scene was where Ron’s car broke down while he was taking Elanne out. Ron stopped his car on the road side but Elanne realised that the tree she planted a while ago has all kinds of feelings. After listening to Ron’s explanation Elanne was so happy that he jumped onto Ron like a koala, and wrapped her legs around him but both collapsed. After that this place became their love spot.

Even though it was raining lightly that day, Ron didn’t mind it as they didn’t need to make any changes in the scene. But it might have affected Elanne who had put on make-up and done her hair up nicely so when standing under the umbrella near the car attracting mean, she also attracted mosquitoes which bit her. Her assistant quickly sprayed repellent before anything else happened.

Recently, TVB had re-broadcast "Triumph in the Skies" during their late night time slot (12.30am ~ 1.30am). When this showed was re-aired,it broke TVB's highest record for the late night time slot.It has an rating point of 7 during (about 44 thousand audiences) ,last Friday,its rating point reached 9 (about 57 thousand audiences).

It had won ATV in terms of ratings during their golden time slot of 8pm ~ 10pm.
"Triumph in the skies" was voted by netizens as the most anticipated series to be re-aired,last year it was re-aired in TVB's pay vision channel.This time its been re-aired in the free channel, it has got higher rating points compared to the series aired during the late night time in the past. Last month when "A loving spirit" was aired during the late night time slot, its average rating point is only 5~6, when "Triumph in the Skies" was re-aired, its rating point reached about 9~10. ATV's broadcasted show during their golden time (8~10pm) was only about 6.

As most of you may know, if you've been visiting Ronforever's forum you would have heard that Ron will be going to Atlantic City to perform along with Angela Tong. The flight details have been released but these are the times that Ron's flight will be leaving and returning to HK

Ron Ng will be going to Canada to perform....the dates are 6/27 & 7/3

The flight times are as folows:

27th June CX 840 ~ 18:40 (leaving Hong Kong)
3rd July CX 827 ~ 14:15 (Arrives back in Hong Kong)

I'm unsure of what time Ron will arrive in Canada but i think you guys might be able to work out the times...

I'm so sorry about the lack of updates. I know i have missed at least 10 articles in the past 2 weeks? but i havent been available to translated and as things are starting to pile upp (exams, assignments) lifes not getting any easier.

Kenny Kwan (關智斌), Elanne Kong (江若琳), Jacqueline Law (羅慧娟) and Charmaine Li (李思欣) were among the stars honoured by a magazine at a presentation event for their services to the community yesterday.

Kenny revealed that he has become ambassador for over 30 different causes since he entered showbiz and when asked if he was working his way up to an Outstanding Youth Award, he said he had not thought about it because he is still young and he does not think about rewards for his charity work.

Elanne has been busy filming with Ron Ng (吳卓羲) recently for TVB series The Academy III <學警狙擊> and there have been plenty of rumours coming from the set about her partnership with Ron, even some suggesting that she had been ignoring him.

When asked about this, Elanne explained that the words had been taken out of context and she has been working very well with him. She said that with so many different stories being written, she felt quite helpless to do anything about them and laughed that she did not know whether or not she should speak to Ron any more.

Elanne went on to compliment her co-star, saying that he has a great sense of humour and has been giving her acting lessons. When it was suggested that Ron is quite a schmoozer, she asked the reporters what that meant. She said that they often joked around with each other, but it was all in good humour and the cast worked together well.

Jacqueline revealed that she has been working recently on a film with director Ann Hui (許鞍華), where she plays a woman who is a victim of domestic violence. She was extremely pleased to work with Simon Yam (任達華) and Jingchu Zhang (張靜初) on this production.

Recently Ron Ng has been busily filming Academy Full Throttle, but yesterday he had a day off, therefore in his new sports car he went to dinner with his good friend Joel Chan, but rumoured girlfriend Charmaine Sheh was no where to be seen.
That night at about 11:30, wearing a white t-shirt, black pants and a grey beanie Ron walked out of the restaurant to get his car. Even though it was raining lightly Ron didn’t mind, and when he spotted the reporters taking pictures he teased “I’m eating dinner here, but I knew you guys (reporters) would see la!” Afterwards Ron drove away with Joel.

Ron Ng & Elanne Kong are busily filming Academy Full Throttle. Yesterday both were at Central filming a scene where Ron wanted to break up with Elanne therefore he was slapped in return. The two of them were filming in the afternoon at about 12 and the director reviewed the scene many times to make sure the position was correct, but he wasn’t too satisfied with the result so he asked Elanne to literally slap Ron on the cheek. When re-filming the scene Elanne did what the director requested and viciously slapped Ron on the cheek and even people who were standing far away could hear the “bang” sound.

Ron who was viciously slapped by Elanne stood there (no knowing what to do) even though Elanne turned around and ran away. Elanne was asked if there was any communication between the two in the scene, she answered “Actually at first we had to fake it, but then to make the outcome more realistic I had to literally slap Ron, only afterwards I said sorry to him”.

Elanne Kong, Ron Ng and Michael Miu all attended the Academy Full Throttle blessing ceremony. Due to an accident on the main roads which happened in the afternoon this function was delayed.

When Elanne was being interviewed, her father in the show, Michael Miu suddenly said “Are you talking about you and Ron ar? What about Shawn Yue?” This gave Elanne a fright. She also mentioned that Michael and Ron usually would make fun of her and even called her the ‘Big mouth Ling’. She said “The always say I eat a lot, but in the show I actually hit & bit Ron many times! Ron was asked if he usually teased Elanne, he said “In the series she always hits me, bites me, and hits me with a broom and the other night she even slapped me, It’s just very hard to cope with! (What about the rumors with her and Shawn?) I’ve only read the newspaper but she told me not to believe it, and we always ask each other if its true or not. So I definitely believe it’s not true! (You guys didn’t seem to have any rumors together?) That’s actually really good! I can’t have rumors with every female I act with. Last time when I was filming with Joey Yung I didn’t have any rumors with her either!”

Yesterday Ron Ng was filming an outdoor scene, but this time he was a “Maid Killer”, because all of a sudden those maids expressed their “Love” and even had a whole purse full of Ron’s pictures.

Yesterday Ron Ng and Sammul Chan were filming Academy Full Throttle at Central. They were filming a scene where they jumped off the bridge which attracted a crowd. There were many people who passed by asking for signatures and also a picture with him. As a “Maid Killer” Ron Ng really lived up to it. During his filming session there were many Philippine maids who were happily asking Ron to take pictures with them. They even showed their “Love” by having a whole purse full of his pictures.

After this, Ron Ng expressed that he was extremely happy. He said “As a celebrity I expected that there would be some fans from other countries. This time, it has made me extremely happy because I couldn’t believe I had fans like these and I didn’t expect it. I thought that only my mum’s purse would have my picture but I wouldn’t have thought that other people would have done the same thing. (Is it because you have the same skin colour, therefore you are liked amongst these maids?) No, it has nothing to do with that, even Louis Koo has fans from Africa!”

In addition, Ron Ng and Sammul Chan had to film a scene where they actually had to jump off a bridge. Sammul’s scream was extremely loud. Ron Ng expressed that he had done this before when filming Ancient dramas. The most unforgettable one was in Twin of Brothers where each they hung from nine foot buildings which was in fact quite difficult.

Even though the rumours may have caused quite some problem for Ron Ng, it definitely didn’t affect his performance for the latest series Academy Full Throttle. A few nights ago, at about 9 Ron and Elanne Kong were at Central filming a scene. The beautiful “jade” girl Elanne, wasn’t worried that fans would be jealous and even gave a “cheek” kiss to Ron.

In this scene Elanne was drunk and lost her sense of direction on the streets. Ron Ng had to hold her as they walked and talked. In the end Elanne took advantage of her being drunk and gave Ron a kiss on the cheek.

After Filming, the director asked everyone to pack up. Ron Ng was starting to get changed to leave but when he was about to leave the director asked Ron to stop because they had to re-film the whole scene again. Ron Ng appeared as though he was a little irritated and said “Didn’t you say that we’ve already finished filming?” The director comforted him and said that he just received a message from Elanne’s company and they said they didn’t have to film the scene at the particular spot (they were in) as they were only allowed to work in that area; therefore to make the scene more realistic there was only one solution; to refilm the whole scene again.

Ron was obedient and quickly went back to get changed to film the scene again. Both filmed the scene really quickly. Ron Ng quickly let Elanne kiss him on the cheek. After that the scene was finally completed. When Ron was leaving he saw reporters and so he revealed a smile on his face.

Yesterday Ron Ng attended that Apm x Columbia fashion show function and also ran in a circle with a fake Olympic torch, imitating the actual ceremony. Recently there has been a magazine which says that Ron had dinner with Charmaine Sheh, and she gave him $20000 for a watch and $200000 for a racing car. This time, Ron Ng is the “modern” prince and Elanne is the princess. Both were wearing formal clothes to film an outdoor scene at Waterfront Park for the series Academy Full throttle. The wonderful scenery of the open field of grass made the couple seem as though they were really in love.

As Ron Ng is busily filming Academy Full throttle, yesterday he went to Waterfront Park to film an outdoor scene with his partner Elanne. In this series, the undercover cop Ron Ng and Elanne Kong, the daughter of Michael Miu are currently dating. Both of them took pictures of their wonderful lives together to be placed on Elanne’s blog. Both were dressed in formal clothes pretending to be the “prince and princess” taking photos together by themselves in the green grass.

At the scene, the “modern” prince Ron Ng expressed that he felt very relaxed when filming. Ron brought out his red camera and with Elanne they took pictures of themselves together. Elanne who was wearing a yellow dress seemed to be enjoying herself as she gave a sweet smile. After taking each picture, both of them would look at it together just like a married couple.

The weather is already humid enough and having to cope with it is enough, but having to wear a huge leather jacket makes it a whole lot worse. Recently Ron Ng has been filming outdoor scenes for the upcoming drama Academy Full Throttle. In a temperature which reached 30 degrees wearing a leather jacket caused him to sweat a lot and even attracted a huge crowd!

The weather has been quite awkward recently. It sometimes may be windy and then before you know it, it’s humid. But the people who suffer are the actors and the crew. Recently Ron Ng and Sammul Chan were filming an outdoor scene at Shaukiwan for Academy Full throttle. That day the temperature reached 30 degrees. Sammul was the only one wearing a t-shirt which must have been so much better than what Ron was wearing. Ron was wearing a thick black leather jacket which must have been like a sauna for him. The scene was where both of them had a bank check, and there was some argument between them. But once the camera wasn’t focused on Ron used those seconds while the camera was focused elsewhere to go to stand aside and breathe heavily. It must have been very hard to cope with the weather because all you could see was sweat dripping from his face and he constantly wiped it away. He repeatedly drank liquid and when he was off set he would treasure that time away from the sun.

Although he was sweating continuously and even reached for inside his shirt to wipe away all the sweat he still attracted a crowd which watched him film. Co-incidentally it was about 3 in the afternoon and the public were all returning home from their day of shopping. Therefore there were quite a lot of housewives who bumped into the crew filming. About 100 passed by and stopped to watch Ron film. But there was a few interruptions as the crew had to let people pass them. Many housewives were having discussions and quite a few of them complimented Ron saying that “Ron Ng is so handsome!” Apart from the housewives who were there, Ron’s fans also followed him around in the heat. All of them were holding an umbrella while watching their idol film; they must have been there to show their support.

Michael Miu, Ng Ka Lok and Toby Leung appeared at a basketball competition. Because it was Mothers day yesterday, the three of them brought their families to come support the team which was a wonderful way to celebrate Mother’s Day. Even the competition became a “family day out”.

Yesterday “Panasonic’s Educational basketball invitational tournament” was held at Mong Kok’s indoor courts. Many artists attended to show their support including Ron Ng, Toby Leung, Lee San San, Ng Ka Lok, Michael Tao, Annie Man and Michael Tse. Even though the team lost 43-56 the event was still very exciting and lively. One of the stars, Michael Miu even brought his 14 year old son Murphy who was cheering for the team. Don’t look down on Murphy for being young because he was focused on the game and he wasn’t disrespectful.

Michael Miu laughed “He’s played basketball for 4 years but I can’t really play. I rather golf and bowling (How did you celebrate mother’s day?) My kids were in charge of the gifts and got her flowers. We will also be going to have a meal to celebrate!”

Ng Ka Lok brought his wife and his daughter to the function. He left his son at home. Ng Ka Lok hasn’t played basketball for two years. But he especially attended this function to support the team. Also Michael Tao is usually very “si si man man” but he is actually very good at sports. He even shot two goals!

The “good looking” Ron Ng showed his support at the function. He did a great performance, even though the audience kept cheering him on. He was asked how he passed mothers day this year, he said that he celebrated it earlier and gave his Mum a big present.

Ken Lo has been quite sick lately but he still turned up at the event. Yesterday he said that his older son and his ex-wife went to Disneyland to celebrate but his younger son stayed home because he was sick. He said that last night he would have a dinner with his family to celebrate. Now he has to carry on a duty of being a father and he said that on Mother’s day he was very gentle with his son. Earlier he separated with his girlfriend, but Ken expressed that now it is really hard to find a partner and even if he found one, his sons would have to approve.

Lee San San said that when she played basketball while she was studying in Uni. Yesterday she and Annie Man shot a few goals. Toby Leung brought her father to the function. She expressed that her performance wasn’t very good but it was good enough to get a huge applause from the audience.

Even though Ron was only filming a road scene that day, he was very professional because when he was having a break he decided to read the script. While Oscar was waiting for people to familiarize themselves with the script, Ron immediately joined them. Afterwards Ron realized there were paparazzi taking pictures so he decided to make funny poses in front of the cameras.

TVB managed to get all the artists in one go to sign with different record companies. The artists included Linda Chung, Kate Tsui, Myolie Wu, Bosco Wong and Ron Ng. Linda signed with Sing Entertainment, Myolie signed with Neway, Kate Tsui and Ron Ng signed with Asia Vigor Productions and perhaps Linda will be the prettiest idol in the musical world.

TVB’s manager Virginia Lok expressed that there was much discussion about this, and she was worried that different companies would fight for the artists. She said that she helped each artist find a different record company. Asked if the TVB artists will have any chances of gaining awards, Ms Lok responded “It is up to the artist to be able to achieve it, and they will also compete with other artists.”

Ron Ng and Elanne Kong were filming Academy Full throttle. Earlier on the two of them had to film a kissing scene, but they only pretended to kiss. Ron expressed he was not worried that his fans would be jealous about this.

Ron Ng and Elanne were filming at Shaukiwan for Academy Full throttle. The scene involved Elanne moving into Ron’s house. She was carrying a huge suitcase and in the scene, it suddenly rains, so both of them get into the car to keep themselves dry.

The series also talks about how Elanne has a crush on Ron, but Ron didn’t have any feeling towards her. Ron was asked if he was like that in real life. He said “No lah! It’s a joke, only in the series it requires me to act like this. (Will you hurt girls like this?) It depends whether I like her or not, and if I don’t we can still be friends.”

Earlier, Ron had to film a kissing scene with Elanne. He said “We were drinking wine, and we were playing games and then slowly kiss one another. But due to the position of the camera, we didn’t have to kiss because they changed the view of the camera so we didn’t kiss in the end. (Did you want to kiss?) There’s no yes or no answer, if the script requires us to then I cannot go against it. (Asked if his fans would be jealous when filming a kissing scene?) Also, Ron complimented Elanne that she was a smart girl and she has adapted to the script really easily. He said “She‘s rather loud., (You don’t like people who are loud?) No, she’s actually quite cute because when we film her character has to be very happy, so she must continue to keep that personality.

Elanne said “In the series, Ron treats me quite badly which really hurts me even when reading the script. If a boy knows that a girl likes her, they can’t act like that. If it was a real life situation I wouldn’t be able to take it!” Elanne is new to the industry and filming Academy full throttle may be very tiring but she appears in every episode, so it’s worth it. She also expressed that working with Michael Miu and Kathy Chow made her happy.

In this scene, Elanne has a huge crush on Ron Ng but Ron had no feelings towards her and he had expressed it in a bad way. Elanne expressed that that when she saw the script, she was quite shocked, because she thought that if a boy knew that she liked him, and even if he didn’t like her, the male should not treat the female like that.

Ron also expressed that even if they couldn’t be lovers, they could still be friends. But after talking about the two collaborating, Ron Ng said “She’s rather loud!” But he immediately explained that his character was high-spirited so he said that Elanne needs to maintain being opened minded.

Quite Profound Roles
Sammul revealed that he is very happy that he can join the third installment of , because he will work with the same, familiar people. "I can collaborate again with "San Ge" (Michael Miu), with my favorite actress, Kathy Chow, also last but not least, Ron Ng. I've collaborated with Ron Ng in filming these series for three times, and we are really familiar with each other so the collaboration has been so much fun. The happiest thing this year is that we are filming earlier than we did with the previous two installments. We used to film in July or August and those times were such sweltering days! We had to film the marching scenes, and had to wear the complete equipments with the uniforms, thus we were all getting dizzy because of the heat. This time we film before summer, so it is much more comfortable!"

Recently, Ron Ng is busy filming "The Academy Full Throttle". The other day, he was filming a scene with Elanne Kong, and the storyline required them both to hug and fight in public. But the both of them were very 合拍, even acted the emotions on his face ! (七情上面 - either they meant he acted the human 7 emotions, or this. sorry><)

Ron entered the industry under Louis Koo's recommendation, not long after entering the industry, he became heavily promoted. Thanks to his bright and handsome looks and fit figure, he is loved by many female. Recently Ron is very lucky to film with "Big Eye Girl" Elanne Kong in the new series "The Academy Full Throttle", the both of them film scenes together, even more sparks are created.

The other day, Ron and "Academy" crew were at WanChai filming outdoor scenes, at the scene, there was also Elanne, who is playing the daughter of Michael Miu. The storyline was that Elanne ambushed Ron at the exit of the stairs, locking him (with her hand) from behind, and shouted: "Do I have a past with you ! Why did you drop all my good !" Then Ron did a "Carp Turn-Over" move, locking Elanne tightly, and also hugging her. Elanne couldn't even stand properly, fully supported by Ron, their bodies were 'glued' together all the time. At the end, Elanne used her 'special skill', and bit Ron's arm, while Ron was in pain and loosens his grip, she seizes the opportunity to run away.

Elanne didn't take her image of a beautiful in consideration, in front of the camera, her expression was very fierce. Although it is their first time collaborating, but when the both of them were hugging, there was no taboo, although NG many times, hugging again and again, but they still laugh out loud. It seems they really enjoy and get along together ! But, the both of them are very nervous about their performance. After one scene, they will immediately watch the playback, seeing how is their performance. Two of them look very natural on-screen, but no matter what, both of their actions are exactly the same, no wonder they are "sum ling seung tung" (means that their minds are connected)

New Series "Wives & Concubines" to be filmed

Last year the seniors Ha Yu, and Lei Sze Kei’s series HOG II was very popular amongst the audience. This year they have filmed a sequel hoping it can be as successful as the first one. After finishing preparing HOG II, in July there are plans to start filming a new series Wives & Concubines (妻妾成群 temporary title translation). There will be a total of 25 episodes. The current cast is Sheren Tang, Kara Hui, Kiki Sheung, Tse Suet Sum & Elliott Ngok Wah. Wayne Lai will be the male lead for the first time.

Wives & Concubines will be directed by Mr Li (李添勝) and will be scripted by Mr Cheung(張華標) who wrote Heart of Greed. This series will be like the mainland production "大宅門". Elliot Ngok Wah will die early in the series so all his business’ will be run by his 4th wife Sharon Tang, and first wife Tse Suet Sum, Second wife Kiki Sheung and third wife Kara Hui will fight for the business.
Also, Ron Ng will play Kara Hui’s son and Suki Tsui will play a younger sister. Both will have a relationship with one another in a society which denies a relationship between a sister and brother.

Wayne Lai and Sheren Tang will film a TVB version of the mainland production "大宅門". This series was split in to two series, with a total of 72 episodes. This took the script writer Mr Kwok 40 years to develop with other directors with over 100 people in the cast.

大宅門 talks about how a family owns a pharmacy, and has been passed on from 3 generations. The first series is set in the Qing dynasty in the time of the Japanese war much. The second series talked about how the family fought against the Japanese and changed the whole family. (sorry if the translation isn’t very accurate).

In the new series Suki Tsui will have a relationship denied by society with Ron Ng.

Yesterday Joey Yung, Shirley Yeung, Ron Ng, Bernice Liu and Kevin Cheng participated in the filming for the 光輝大地Olympic MV. All of them demonstrated different types of sport.
Ron Ng was all dressed in the sports gear for weightlifting. Even though he discs were made from foam, it seemed as though he was a trained weightlifter as he was sweating. He said “When I usually do gym, I lift about 150-170 lbs”. Reporters laughed and asked, do you usually do weight-lifting to attract females? He said “No lah, I’m a failure. Maybe because I always go there in a tracksuit and I don’t wear Singlets lah! Also, when I go to the gym it is usually empty.”

Even though Ron is busy with filming his latest series, yesterday, when he had time off, he met up with friends to have a few drinks and to relax. At about 10 last night, dressed in sport clothes, Ron quickly went into the Wine store, looking everywhere for a bottle of wine, but nothing satisfied him so he came out of the store empty handed.

When Ron left, reporters started taking pictures of him; Ron smiled, and didn’t look as though he was disappointed. He laughed “Originally I came down to the store to get a really nice bottle of wine, but this store didn’t have it on the shelf so I really can’t do anything! I have to go to another store to look lah!”

Grand Production's Must Have Candidate

Raymond Lam, who is being promoted heavily to become this year's TV King, entered EEG and the music industry with TVB's arrangement previously last year. This year, he accepted series after series, and all of them are grand productions. Besides "The Master of Tai Chi" 《太极》which was just broadcasted, and with TVB's other heavily promoted Siu Sangs: Ron Ng, Sammul Chan and Kenneth Ma's joint acting "The Four" 《少年四大名捕》, and there's this year's grand production "Heart of Greed 2" 《溏心风暴之家好月圆》where his scenes increased by a lot (compared to last sequel). From a guest performer becoming the lead actor, not much difference compared to last year's TVB's heavily promoted Moses Chan's situation. It is believed that after last year's "Mainland's Most Favourite TVB Male Artist", this year's TV King is bound to be in his bag.

Ron ng and Elanne Kong were filming an outdoor scene for Academy Full throttle. , Elanne said that The scene that was filmed was about how she was a princess of another country on her blog, but unfortunately people found out that she was lying, and Ron, in order to help her, took her to the "rich area =]" to take some photos for her, helping her pretend to be rich

The two are seen as on-screen lovers, and Ron is working with Elanne for the first time. Even though they have a huge age difference, they still get along very well. Ron said "I've been working with her for two days and I read in the newspaper that she’s a "boy killer" (is she your type?) U'm not a boy, and its pretty obviously that shes still very young, only 20 years old, I like the more mature types. But she's asked me before, "Were you born in the 80s?" and i told her, "70s! i've been in the industry for 10 years ! No joke" Elanne was asked about this and she laughed “I thought he was 24 or 25! But he has kept his look very well!”. Asked if she liked boys much older than she is, Elanne said “I reckon 5 years difference its OK! But age difference is not a huge problem. If the person treats me well, and is even younger than me I really have nothing against it but I hope it will only be 5 years!”.

Asked if both of them were worried about rumors, Ron said “No I’m not scared, and we can’t hide from them. If newspapers want to write about this then we can’t do anything. I won’t purposely go hide from all this. Everyone is just working for a living!”. Elanne Kong also expressed that she wasn’t afraid of rumours.

Ron Ng treasures his time in China to practice Mandarin

Hong Kong’s Siu Sing Ron Ng, is not only handsome but has a great personality. When filming “Life and Death” in China, many fans came to visit from around the World. There were fans from Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan who all came to visit their idol to support their idol. But the popular actor also has his “frustrating” points. Because his Mandarin isn’t very good it held him back from the rest. Because Life and Death is going to be aired in Mandarin, Ron treasures his time in China and practiced his Mandarin.

Even though he has filmed in Mainland a few times, Ron’s mandarin had its good and bad points and could only be roughly understood. When filming Life and Death, his crew didn’t understand Cantonese, so at the end of each scene, his last few lines were spoken in mandarin. Slowly, everyone got use to it. Ron also keeps everyone entertained. Sometimes he pulls pranks and jokes on others, and his partner Yao Qian Yu had to learn Ron’s “Standard” mandarin. Ron also had his camera to take pictures of Qian Yu while she was resting.

Life and Death is Ron’s first character as a spy. There were many fighting scenes which involved the use of a gun. Currently the film is being edited. It wont be long till the audience will get to view this series!

[Canada's Sing Tao Weekly] Raymond Lam and Ron Ng Drank Too Much

Quite recently, TVB Executive Tommy Leung’s daughter held a wedding banquet at the Four Seasons Hotel. This banquet attracted a lot of attention as it lit up the hotel, almost like it was TVB's Anniversary. After all, it was a TVB's Executive’s daughter’s wedding so who wouldn’t dare to not turn up?

That night, Dung Gu (should be the reporter) saw Raymond Lam and Ron Ng, the “Brothers”, stayed at the party until it ended. Was it because they are enjoying themselves that when they came out of the hotel and even waved to the media? They even showed the “V” sign, and seemed happier than actually getting married themselves. Perhaps, it was because they just drank a few extra glasses which caused them to be on a high la!

Michael Miu, Ron Ng and Michael Tse were filming at central last night for the latest series Academy Full Throttle (學警狙擊). In the scene, Ron Ng, triad leader Michael Miu and Michael Tse were having an argument on the streets. Even though Ron and Michael Miu had to film till about 11, they attracted a huge crowd and Ron had many female fans watching him film. While filming the scenes, the crowd were taking many pictures which affected the lighting. In the end they all had to film the scene again and Michael Miu looked a big nervous because the director kept reviewing the scenes over and over again to make sure the scene was perfect. Michael Tse also told the audience in English and Chinese to stop photography since it affected the lighting.

After filming, many of the female fans asked Ron for autographs and to take pictures with him. Michael Miu also had many female fans but Michael Tse didn’t have any, so he just got into the car for a rest. Was it because he was too weary while filming or was it because his fans didn’t like his acting?

Ron Ng, Sammul Chan and Michael Tse Fight on The Streets

Ron Ng Cheuk Hei, Sammul Chan Kin Fung, Michael Tse Tin Wah, Leung Ga Kei were filming the other night for TVB's new series 《学警狙击》(The Academy 3) in Central. They were in filming a fighting scene between organizations, where Michael was a gangster. The story was that the gangster head was holding a triad gathering outside a restaurant. However, the police received news about the gathering and rushed to the scene to investigate. He was fully in white, with the "dream prince" (白马王子) look, when he confronted the two police. Ron and Sammul, who were playing the role of a police officer, carried out their police duties and investigated at the scene. The crew arranged about 6 to 7 privatel cars and 3 police vehicles and one car for assaulting, which resulted the scene to be lifelike and real. This attracted half of a hundred residents to surround and observe. Including the supporting actors and the residents, there were more than a hundred people there.

Ron becomes an undercover
Ron said that his character in the series will be a undercover cop, so he wouldn't need to wear the uniform. Ron would also have many fighting scenes with Michael Tse. He said, "There will be many fighting scenes where guns would be often used, so the company helped us to get a shooting license I will be careful !" However, it is quite obvious that he, who returned to Mainland to film a series, had became quite thin. He said, "I was filming there for three months, it was very cold and there was no nice food. I lost about 8 to 9 pounds, so now filming modern series, (its) more natural lo ! But, I'm very lonely, previously, during New Year, I had steamboat alone !" Ron also revealed that his Mandarin has improved a lot. Ron's character will have a relationship with Elanne Kong, he expressed that he is not worried about rumours but he hopes that he won't have rumours, and he has not many relationship scenes with Elanne, but have more action scenes and gun scenes instead.

This time, Michael's gangster role is different from the previous ones that he have played, not only it's a very matured role, but it also will have a three-sided relationship with Kathy Chow and Michael Miu, and quite some fighting scenes with Ron. Michael said, "Expected to get hit la !"

The crew arranged police vehicles for filming, with half a hundred residents observing.

Michael Admires Ron’s healthy Body; Sarm gor, dyes his hair white

Michael Miu has always kept his appearance to a high standard. Yesterday “Academy Full throttle” was filming an outdoor scene. Because Michael is supposedly playing Samuel’s father and also a triad leader he had to dye his hair white.

In Academy Full throttle, Sammul mistakes that Michael is his father which causes many problems in the story. In the beginning Michael is a normal person and hasn’t exactly turned bad yet but he still makes himself appear as though he is really old. No wonder during the Costume fitting he hadn’t fully dressed himself, and only dyed his hair during the official filming! Yesterday when filming the outdoor scene, Michael dyed his hair by himself. He combed his hair to one side and died the fringe white to give a realistic feeling.

Even though Michael is a lot older than Ron and Sammul, the seemed to get along with each other very well while filming a fishing scene. They were very congenial with one another and Michael was responsible for both of their fishing baits. He also expressed that he really admired how fit healthy Ron was because there were strong winds and Ron was even wearing a t-shirt.

Recently Ron was in Japan taking dancing lessons, but after learning for a week, he had hurt his waist and also had to start filming back in Hong Kong. But Ron had spent a 5 figure sum and paid for all the fees himself. Everyday he would learn with different teachers and also learn many styles of dancing including Hip Hop, L.A, Free Style and House. Apart from attending class everyday, Ron stayed at a simple civilian house in Japan and said he enjoyed the feeling of living in Japan. Asked if he went to learn dancing in Japan because people criticized his dancing Ron said “Yes, but I put this situation behind me many years ago. I actually really enjoy Dancing. If I have time I will actually go to New York and learn because a lot of the Japanese go to New York to learn dancing and then return to Japan to teach others.”

Also, Yesterday Ron Ng, Suki Chui, Konnie Lui and Charles Szeto accompanied many children to celebrate Easter. At the function there were many Fun Activities which the little kids enjoyed. To give accompany this special day, they played the “Chicken Eggs” Game. Amongst the artists Ron was the centre of attention for the little ones. He sung the Pokemon theme song and even asked the little kids to come on stage and all of them sung along with him!

Kathy Chow regarded as Old Newcomer

It has been ten years since Kathy filmed her last series, Secret of the Heart <天地豪情>, for TVB until this installment. Yesterday the crew participated in the costume fitting for the upcoming series for 《學警狙擊》Kathy had stopped filming for 10 years and laughed that she was a “old newcomer”. She expressed that she was back to film for TVB because this instalment was highly captivating and she also had time to film this new instalment.

Kathy Chow, Elanne Kong, Michael Miu, Ron Ng and Sammul Chan all participated in the costume fitting for 《學警狙擊》. Kathy Chow is the wife of the villain “Dai Lo” (Michael) and said she was very happy with her role, and was even laughing with the rest of the crew, and joked that she was an “old Newcomer”.

Kathy was asked if she recognised the two knew TVB’s two Siu Sings, she laughed and said “I know Ron Ng, becauseI’ve seen him in newspaper”. Asked which one she knew better Cathy stated that she knew Ron and Sammul well because she had watched the previous instalments for the Academy series.
Asked if she would feel uncomfortable since it’s been 10 years since she’s filmed, Cathy replied “It might sometimes feel unusual and sometimes it might feel fine, its just that I’ll be filming in a large area!”

Not worried about Rumours

Ron Ng and Elanne Kong will be pairing up with each other. This is the first time they will be filming together and they were asked if they had any kissing scenes. Both of them responded that they were unsure of the storyline but if it was required, they would definitely film it.

Ron was asked if he was worried about rumours but he said calmly “In the industry, when rumours spread I cannot control them, but I am very serious about this drama and I will put a lot of effort into filming it.”

Ron Ng & Elanne Kong participated in the costume fitting for the new series 學警狙擊 (hok ging jui kik, sequel to cadets *unsure of English title*). Both of them expressed that they are not worried about rumours. Ron said “I am unsure if there are any intimate scenes since Elanne and I have a relationship with one another in the series. Even if there are intimate scenes, I will not refuse to film them. I am also not worried about rumours, because in the industry, we cannot control rumours that spread. For Elanne Kong, Acting for the first time may be a bit nerve racking but she expressed that she was very excited and hoped that they could start filming as soon as possible.

Well, as you can see i've changed the layout of the blog. I know the previous one did not work in Mozilla and its been there for about a year already. Its been a year since i've opened this site, and theres already been 27000 hits. Pretty happy ^^
I know theree wasnt much point in changing the layout since i was going to redirect this site to RONFOREVER. But i figured that the layout is still being made, which is taking forever so i thought may as well keep this for now. I do sometimes find it irritating to post here, the forum, and Ron's official forum because as a moderator, i must do these things but in the end i guess its all worth it because im sure Ron would love to see so many things happening for all his overseas fans!

Ron Ng and Joyce Cheng haven’t had any encounters with each other since the “Children’s Songs Award” in 2005. Since then they haven’t seen each other until yesterday at Lydia’s Remembrance ceremony. Ron Ng while holding Joyce’s hand asked her a few questions and even made Joyce laugh.
Ron and Joyce were partners in the 2005 Children’s Song Award. They both played the Prince and Princess at the awards Joyce had to Kiss Ron to follow the storyline. Many complaints were brought forward because the kiss made the audience feel uncomfortable. This situation was treated as a joke, but many made fun of Joyce which made Lydia feel very unhappy.

Ron Ng yesterday attended “Fei Jie, We will always remember you” ceremony, to go up on stage and leave flowers for Lydia and comforted Joyce. Even though Ron & Joyce have only worked together at the Children’s Song Awards, Ron still gave words of support and told Joyce she had to stay strong. Joyce laughed and said “Thank You!” Afterwards Ron was asked did it feel awkward to meet again because of the previous incident but he just said “It definitely wasn’t awkward. Today is to remember Fei Jie, even though I have never worked with her, but I really respect her. The last time I saw her was the Anniversary, and it really hurt us to see how skinny she was.” Asked if Joyce had changed at all, Ron said “She has become much more confident and stronger. She has not made everyone worry about her. She has definitely grown up a lot!

TVB’s Manager Tommy Leung’s older daughter Bonnie Leung had her wedding banquet yesterday. Many were there and it was a very lively ceremony.

The newly wedded couple Bonnie and Ricky were at Central Four seasons Hotel to celebrate. Two nights ago there were 32 tables for visitors. Last night 22 tables were set for their banquet. Many were there including Liza Wang, Nancy Sit, Louis Koo, Ron Ng, Michael Miu and Nick Cheung were also there accompanied with their wives.

Poor Ron having to attend wedding after he got back! Anyway congrats to Bonnie and Ricky. But i dont see why its such a big deal. Hmm wonder why Ron was there? is he good friends with Bonnnie or Ricky?

TVB’s Ron Ng and Yao Qian Yu are really rushing the last scenes of “Life and Death”, Yesterday Reporters visited the actors and Ron told the reporters that his character his role was really serious and deep (Tai sum). These days he has had to film crying scenes which has put him under a lot of pressure and made him unhappy.

Characters in the Series
When Reporters came to visit the actors, the crew was currently filming a scene where they were filming a scene where one of them was about to die and Ron Ng was hugging Yao Qian Yu with tears in each other’s eyes ready to say good-bye. Both of them in the Show are from two communist parties. Both of them a true lovers but there is much pain between them as they quarrel a lot, and always match against each other. Ron Ng indicated “Because this play is a love Tragedy, There is always crying scenes which make me think about it everyday. It makes me very unhappy so it is very hard for me to sleep.”

Talking about Fei Jie
“Happy Fruit” Fei fei has recently passed away which has caused a huge shock to the Hong Kong entertainment circle. As a TVB Siu sing, Ron Ng said after Fei Jie has left he expresses that he has regretted that before Fei Jie had left, he was in Mainland filming. Only Hong Kong friends called and told him this news. Ron stated “Even though I haven’t worked with Fei Jie before but I really respect her. Outside the Entertainment circle I’ve always seen everyone treating her as the big sister, and they respect and listen to her.”

Talking about Edison’s Scandal
Quite lately there were many things on the sex scandal of Edison Chen. Ron Ng just said “I only can worry about my own duties”. He said that the pictures posted on the internet really annoyed people. One of the coldest winters in China still haven’t passed, but “Life and Death” Male and Female lead Ron Ng, and Yao Qian Yu has come across a difficult Problem. Even though there was a scene where they had to go into the water, Yao Qian Yu actually really likes swimming when she is free as it keeps her fit.

Life and Death crew Yao Qian Yu and Ron Ng this year couldn’t stop filming even if it was Valentine’s day, and even had to film till really late so they had a Valentine’s Day dinner, watched movies afterwards. They were experiencing very cold weather so they each had a warm sweat potato which they really enjoyed (I think its sweet potato).

Yao Qian Yu hardly goes shopping, and even spends less time going to the movies. Usually Valentine’s Day for her is not sitting at home watching a movie but instead going on holidays. Playful Ron really enjoys playing computer games, but if he doesn’t play his games he will ask his friends out for a gathering.

Another version of “Mr and Mrs Smith” has been made into a Chinese production called “Life and Death”. It is set about 40 years ago which has a great story line. The story line is mainly based on two lovers who experience fake relationships and come across many complications. This is a 2008 production which cannot be missed. Crew from well known series including “Girls Don’t cry” and “Keep laughing” you must wait for this great series to air. “Life and death” has a lot of deep feelings “心血” and not only does it have plots that link on from one another, it also has a is filled with happiness and love.

After Valentine’s Day Life and Death crew will head off to China to finish filming the last of their scenes. Stars Ron Ng, Yao Qian Yu, Sarina, and Wen Zhong Ren, will all be there.

Hong Kong’s Siu sing Ron Ng, brought a whole crowd to the filming set of “Life and Death”. There were a few girls who kept holding camera and DV recording everything that was happening, but when they were resting, and they can't see Ron, they start to play poker cards (those poker cards are specially made with Ron's photo from his TVB series on it). For this we could see how depth Ron's fans admire or are attracted by Ron.

A few days ago, when Ron and Yao Qian Yu were at the filming sets, there were a few “old friends” who came to the set. These friends come once in a while to visit Ron. They said that they drove over and near by had rented out rooms in order to follow Ron to his filming sets. These group of girls are Ron’s “元老級”.
